Whether your company is a member of a specific well known quality system, or you are an individual concerned with instrument accuracy, a close look at your calibration source is appropriate. Their work is on display at every audit you endure.
It is, however, your neck on the line as the check marks are made. As the individual in charge of calibration it is your responsibility to ensure that the equipment is accurately calibrated and properly identified. In this regard all calibration labs are not created equal. We'd like to help.

Our goal is in line with your goal: To help you successfully pass audits and to present to your customer an appealing picture of quality. Certified Calibrations, Inc. has a vested interest in the manufacturing community of Florida. We recognize that long-term, the better you do, the better we do. Ethics and integrity are the foundation of Certified Calibrations, Inc. Our reputation is "doing the job correctly or not at all".

All jobs accepted by CCI must pass several internal criteria. A purchase order is one of the criteria, however, it does not stand alone. When we state we are in compliance with ISO Guide 25 and NCSL/Z540 we take that statement seriously. We have the proper calibrated standards traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. We have the proper environment to perform valid calibrations;  both the lab and shop are climate controlled. We have written calibration procedures in accordance with established Federal and ISO Guidelines. ANSI/ASME standards are referenced when appropriate. A written quality manual is available for review. Calibration records are kept on file for 10 years. Custom software tracks your gages' history through four different methods and automatic recalibration due notices are sent via fax monthly.

All calibration certificates include details of gage identification , calibration sources, calibration schedule, gage location, gage tolerance and limitations, test points and certification requirements. We offer two different certifications. Long form certification includes data detailing each test performed and observed test results with an accuracy statement. It is the form commonly accepted by most recognized quality systems auditors. Short form compliance certification attests that the gage has been calibrated, listing the test points with overall accuracy statement only.

CCI prides itself on it's staff. Each employee is dedicated to the task of "Doing It Right", from the receiving department to the shipping department. All phases of the calibration process reflect this approach.

Examples of this:
Certification data is triple checked before certificates are printed.
All gages are packed with the utmost caution to ensure their safe arrival.

Our on-site calibration procedures and processes reflect the same spirit as in-house
.

"In" to "Out" we want it right.
